联合国中国书会与美中泰国际文化发展中心联合主办的“和平与爱——李国栋 王林旭联合国书画展”在联合国展览长廊隆重开幕。本次展览是由大师级艺术家--泰国华裔书法 家李国栋教授与中国著名画家王林旭教授联袂带来的一台文化盛宴,得到各级官员、艺术家和学者的高度关注和支持。
书法艺术是属于中国的,也是属于世界的,而绘画艺术是世界通用的无国界语言。“和平与爱——李国栋 王林旭联合国书画展”,通过具有五千年悠久历史、博大精深的中国书法艺术和现代抽象画及意象艺术的携手合作,达到古典与现代的完美结合,展现淋漓尽致的张力与柔美,传递“平和与爱”的理念。
我们相信,这次李国栋王林旭两位书画大师的联合国展必将在纽约掀起一股强劲的的中国文化艺术风潮,让西方民众感受到中国艺术的无穷魅力和强大震撼力,为中国艺术所陶醉折腰。同时也可以让民众在李国栋雄浑挺拔的书法字里行间,在气象万千的王林旭意向画作中,体味“和平与爱”的博大、深邃意境。
倡导和平,用爱与关怀来改变世界是一个伟大且永恒的主题。这次我们以艺术的形式弘扬人文精神,交流和分享属于全人类的高雅文化艺术,促进族裔和谐,和平相处,与联合国精神和宗旨无疑是一脉相承的。
联合国中国书会是一个联合国注册的工作人员文娱俱乐部,是联合国华裔工作人员精心营造的一个文化之家,是一个联合国华裔工作人员的联络中心,相互了解,增进友谊。联合国中国书会还是一个弘扬中华文化的国际平台。十几年来,中国书会在联合国大厦举办过几十次展览,许多著名作家、画家、书法家和艺术家都曾通过这个平台光临联合国传播中华文化;联合国中国书会还举办过多次捐款和义卖活动,为救灾和扶贫做出了一份贡献。
美中泰国际文化发展中心, 2003年在纽约成立,是美国联邦政府认可的非营利机构,有501C联邦税号。中心由国际政治、经济、文化领 域著名活动 家陈香梅 女士担任永远名誉主席,艺术总监及主要负责人为艺术家李依凌,其他顾问及成员包括美国、中国、泰国的高级官员及企业家、文化界知名人士、媒体从业 人员、医生等。公司的宗旨为在世界传播中国艺术文化、促进中西方和谐、了解和文化艺术交流,在世界各地开展慈善爱心活动。
Preface
The “peace and love” arts exhibition is co-sponsored by UNSRC Chinese Book Club and UCT International Culture Development Inc. This cultural feast brought by Thai Chinese calligrapher Mr. Li Guodong and Chinese famous painter Mr. Wang Linxu has been well received by people from all fields, including officials of UN, officials from Chinese Consulate, Chinese Mission to UN, overseas Chinese organizations, and artists both home and abroad.
Chinese ink calligraphy is an ancient art form that belongs to China. Now it also belongs to the world, as the world is a village. Painting is a “universal language”. We firmly believe through this exhibition, viewers will be thrilled to see the beauty in Chinese art form.
This exhibition conveys a great and eternal theme—peace and love, and aims at promoting cultural exchange and demonstrating the human spirit of elegance and innovation in the form of art.
UNSRC Chinese Book Club is an international platform for the promotion of Chinese culture. Over the past decade, the Chinese Book Club has sonsored dozens of exhibitions at the United Nations building, including painting, calligraphy, photography and art exhibitions and concerts. A number of Chinese cultural groups and famous writers, painters, calligraphers and artists have helped promote Chinese culture through this platform. Chinese Book Club also organized several charity events for disaster relief and poverty alleviation.
UCT International Culture Development, INC. (UCT), established in 2003 in New York, is a non-profit cultural and art organization, with 501C federal tax exempt number. The organization aims to promoting international cultural and art exchange. President of UCT, Ms. Yiling Li, a famous young artist herself, is originally from Yunnan, China, now resides in New York.
Other members and consultants are entrepreneurs, officials, celebrities in cultural field and media workers, from US, China and Thailand. UCT focuses on long-term cultural and art exchanges, especially Sino-US cultural exchanges and charities that help the poor in underdeveloped areas in China. It also promotes better understanding and harmony between and among countries and regions. |
